Unosecur is an identity security platform that discovers, monitors and protects human users, non-human identities (NHIs) and AI agents across cloud, SaaS and on-premises environments. Based in Berlin and led by founder and CEO Santhosh Jayaprakash, the company was established in 2021 and built its platform around a single concept, the Unified Identity Fabric: one graph that correlates every identity, its privileges and its activity across systems. The platform is agentless and combines identity security posture management (ISPM), identity threat detection and response (ITDR), privileged access, compliance and NHI security in one product, with a dedicated MCP Gateway for AI agents. This overview explains how the platform works and what it covers, based on Unosecur’s public product information and announcements.

What The Platform Does
Unosecur groups its capabilities into modules that run on the same identity graph, so findings from one area can be correlated with another.
Discovery And The Unified Identity Fabric
The Unified Identity Fabric builds a continuous inventory of identities across cloud providers, SaaS applications, identity providers, CI/CD pipelines and on-premises Active Directory. It includes identities that traditional IAM and IGA tools often miss, such as locally managed users, shadow admins, service accounts that are not protected by MFA, and AI agents. Because human, non-human and AI identities sit in one graph, a privilege chain that spans multiple systems can be traced end to end. Unosecur states that a contextual inventory and risk dashboard is available within 15 minutes of onboarding.
Identity Security Posture Management
ISPM continuously assesses identities, access rights and authentication configurations. Each identity receives a dynamic risk score that updates as its access and activity change. The platform highlights excessive privileges, stale credentials and misconfigurations, and supports remediation through built-in workflows or through integration with existing IAM and security tools.
Identity Threat Detection And Response
ITDR monitors identity behaviour after login. Unosecur’s models learn what normal activity looks like for each identity, whether human, machine or AI agent, and flag anomalies such as unusual access patterns, use of stolen credentials or privilege escalation. Detection rules span more than 50 integrations, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Okta, GitHub, Bitbucket and Atlassian, and cover users, service accounts, tokens, shared accounts, OAuth applications, third-party integrations and AI agents. Alerts can be tuned by time zone and location to reduce noise, and response can be automated to contain threats.
Privileged Access
The privileged access module applies just-in-time and least-privilege controls, granting elevated access only when needed and removing standing privileges.
Compliance
The compliance module supports regulatory and audit requirements by reporting on identity controls and findings across connected environments.
NHI Security
Unosecur gives non-human identities the same depth of coverage as human users. Its NHI capabilities include:
- Visibility of all NHIs, including service accounts, API keys, OAuth tokens, bots and AI agents, with identification of high-risk NHIs that hold privileged access
- End-to-end lifecycle tracking from creation to decommissioning
- Detection of stale keys and over-privileged bots, with automated clean-up workflows
- Least-privilege access management, including rightsizing permissions for AI agents and service accounts
- Automated lifecycle management for service accounts and automated secret rotation
- Built-in remediation playbooks for compromised bots and machine identities
Unosecur recommends scoping AI agent access per task or per user delegation rather than granting standing access, and issuing short-lived credentials through workload identity where the platform supports it.
How The Architecture Works
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Agentless connectors | Unosecur connects to each environment through APIs and native connectors rather than software installed on endpoints or servers. This covers cloud accounts in AWS, Azure and GCP, SaaS applications, identity providers such as Okta, code platforms such as GitHub and Bitbucket, and on-premises Active Directory. |
| Identity graph | Data from all connectors is normalised into the Unified Identity Fabric, which links each identity to its entitlements, credentials, owners and activity. |
| Analytics and response | Posture analytics, behavioural models and detection rules run against the graph. Findings are risk-scored and can trigger automated remediation or be sent to existing tools. |
| Deployment options | The platform is delivered as SaaS and can also be deployed inside a customer’s own AWS environment, with native connectors for many AWS services. |
Agentic AI Capabilities
Unosecur treats AI agents as first-class identities, with provenance, scoped permissions and runtime monitoring.
AI Agent Discovery
The UIF Analyzer discovers AI agents running across cloud, SaaS and identity provider environments and places them in the same view as human identities and NHIs. It tracks agent activity across AWS, GCP, Azure, SaaS applications and identity providers with the same cross-platform event trail used for other identities, and highlights over-permissioned agents.
Unosecur MCP Gateway
The Unosecur MCP Gateway is a single control plane for AI agent interactions with infrastructure. Organisations define policies once and enforce them across every MCP server, tool and resource. When an agent requests access, the gateway evaluates policy in real time and permanently logs the action. Key features include:
- Session and token tracking: monitors sessions, authentication flows, token usage and tool calls
- Just Enough Privilege: rightsizes agent permissions to reduce standing access
- Just-in-time access control for agents and tools
- Tamper-proof audit trails of agent activity
Unosecur maps the gateway’s controls to threats in the OWASP Agentic AI threat model, including tool misuse, privilege compromise and identity spoofing.
Unosecur MCP Server
Unosecur also publishes an MCP server endpoint so that security teams can query the platform from MCP-compatible clients such as Claude, Cursor and VS Code after signing in.
Integrations
| Area | Documented integrations |

Use Cases And Industries
Unosecur publishes use cases for identity security posture management, identity threat detection and response, granular control of non-human identities, just-in-time privileged access, compliance and governing AI agents and MCP servers. It positions the platform as a consolidation of separate ITDR, PAM and ISPM tools for organisations operating across AWS, Azure, GCP and on-premises Active Directory, and offers a per-account subscription on AWS Marketplace.
