KeyXentic is a Taiwanese information security company that replaces passwords with physical security keys, fingerprints and FIDO2 authentication. It serves businesses that want staff to log in to VPNs, applications and internal systems without passwords, and that need to protect encryption keys and sensitive files with hardware they control.
Unusually for the category, it designs its own tokens and readers as well as the software that uses them.

What KeyXentic Does
Passwords are shared, reused and phished, and each system that relies on them is another place they can leak. KeyXentic takes a zero trust approach that brings FIDO2, biometrics, multi-factor authentication and single sign-on together, so that a business can unify VPN, application and system logins behind one passwordless credential. The hardware token sits at the centre: the physical key acts as the password, keeping control in the user’s hands, and the same key protects encryption keys and shared files. An identity verification service supports know-your-customer checks.
Products
Keyper Zero Trust Passwordless Manager
Keyper is the identity and access management product. It lets users “Log in once to access the entire network”, using a security key, fingerprint or NFC token instead of a password, and it produces detailed login audit reports for administrators. Keyper supports both offline and online verification.
Keytrust Key Management Service
Encryption is only as safe as the keys behind it. Keytrust stores and protects those keys, with strict access control over who and what can use them.
XenBox File Encryption Protection System
XenBox gives teams an encrypted folder for sharing internal information. The folder is opened with the KX701 token, so access depends on holding the physical key.
Hardware Tokens And Readers
KeyXentic designs the devices that carry the credential:
| KX701 NFC Smart Token | A FIDO token that also unlocks XenBox folders |
|---|---|
| KX901 Fingerprint Smart Token | A fingerprint token for multi-factor authentication |
| KX902 Fingerprint Smart Card Reader | A reader combining smart card and fingerprint checks |
| KX905 Smart Terminal | A device listed as a hardware security module |
| KX906 Smart Token FIDO | A FIDO security key |
How It Works
| Credential | Each user holds a physical token that replaces the password. |
|---|---|
| Sign-in | Keyper checks the token or fingerprint, either offline or online, grants single sign-on across the network and logs the login for audit. |
| Keys | Key material sits in Keytrust, with the KX905 Smart Terminal providing hardware security module functions. |
| Files | XenBox folders open only when the KX701 token is presented. |
