Kron Technologies is an Istanbul software company that builds privileged access management for enterprises, banks and telecom operators. Its products help security teams control who can use administrator accounts, what they do in privileged sessions, and how the credentials behind servers, network devices and applications are stored.
Its security work centres on one platform, Kron PAM, and it also sells network products to telecom and enterprise operators.

What Kron Technologies Does
Kron focuses on insider threats and uncontrolled privileged access. Administrators and third parties often hold broad rights over critical infrastructure, and a single misused account can expose data across a whole estate. Kron PAM answers this with layered, centrally managed controls over privileged access, so the same policy applies whether the target is a server, a database or a network switch.
The capabilities fall into three groups: managing privileged passwords, controlling sessions along zero trust principles, and producing the evidence needed for regulation and audit. Behaviour analytics runs across privileged activity to spot malicious insider actions.
Products
Kron PAM
Kron PAM is the privileged access platform, sold as a set of modules that customers can combine:
| Password Vault | Keeps privileged credentials in a fully encrypted store and verifies the users who request them. |
|---|---|
| Privileged Session Manager | Gives full control over privileged sessions, so administrators work through a monitored gateway rather than connecting directly. |
| Privileged Task Automation | Runs routine administrative tasks on a scalable architecture, cutting the number of times people need hands-on privileged access. |
| Unified Access Manager | Ships built-in, pre-integrated TACACS+ and RADIUS servers for authentication, authorisation and accounting on network infrastructure. |
| Multi-Factor Authentication | Adds OTP, strong password management, and geolocation and time-based checks to privileged logins. |
| Database Access Manager | Records the sessions of database administrators who reach critical data. |
| Endpoint Privilege Management | Authorises which applications and commands may run on endpoints. |
| Secrets Manager | Manages the lifecycle of credentials used by software rather than people. |
Kron CloudPAM
Kron CloudPAM delivers the same privileged access approach as a hosted SaaS service. It suits organisations that want PAM without running the vault and session infrastructure themselves.
Other Product Lines
Outside security, Kron offers a Telemetry Pipeline and an AAA Solution and Subscriber Management product line. These serve telecom and enterprise operators that need to collect network data and handle subscriber authentication at scale.
How It Works
Kron PAM is built as a cloud-native platform designed to support Software Defined Networks. Kron CloudPAM is the hosted alternative.
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Session path | Administrators reach target systems through the Session Manager rather than directly, collecting credentials from the vault on the way, so every session is brokered and recorded. |
| Network AAA | Routers, switches and other network devices send their TACACS+ and RADIUS requests to the Unified Access Manager. |
| Analytics | User Behavior Analytics uses AI algorithms on session activity to detect malicious actions by insiders. |
Identities And Systems Covered
| Privileged users | Administrators reaching servers, network devices and other critical systems. |
|---|---|
| Database administrators | Sessions on critical databases, recorded by Database Access Manager. |
| Endpoints | Applications and commands authorised through Endpoint Privilege Management. |
| Non-human identities | Machine identities, API keys, tokens and service credentials held in Secrets Manager. |
| Network infrastructure | Routers, switches and other devices authenticated through TACACS+ and RADIUS. |
