Legit Security is an application security company. It gives AppSec and development teams one place to find, prioritise and fix risk across the software they build, including code written by AI coding agents, secrets left in repositories and vulnerabilities in open-source components.
Its Legit Agentic AppSec Platform is aimed at organisations where AI coding tools now write a large share of the code, and where security teams cannot keep up by reviewing findings tool by tool.

What Legit Security Does
Modern software passes through many repositories, pipelines, scanners and clouds, and each tool reports its own findings. Legit maps every application, repository, API and cloud asset together with its owner, connects findings from code to cloud to runtime, and scores each issue by business criticality, exposure and exploitability, so teams work on the risks that matter first rather than on whatever each tool flagged loudest. The work follows four stages: generate secure code, detect risk, prioritise and remediate, and govern AI and the supply chain.
Products
AI-Native ASPM
AppSec teams drowning in alerts from separate tools use ASPM to see one ranked list. It brings vulnerability discovery, contextual risk scoring and remediation together across the software factory, keeps the asset and ownership map current, and routes each issue to the team that owns it. The platform cites a reported 90%+ reduction in vulnerability noise.
Code Security
Code Security provides Legit’s own scanners for secrets, SAST, SCA and infrastructure as code, with reachability analysis and detection tuned for AI-generated code. It also protects CI/CD pipelines and monitors them continuously, giving teams coverage without stitching together separate scanning products.
Supply Chain Security And Governance
This module applies policy across pipelines, repositories and releases. It manages the full SBOM life cycle and sets consistent rules for third-party and open-source components, AI models and MCP servers, which helps organisations answer what is in their software and where it came from.
Agentic Remediation
The autonomous remediation agents work through SAST and SCA vulnerabilities across every affected service at once. They generate fixes as pull requests, then rescan to confirm each change actually resolved the issue, reducing the backlog that developers would otherwise handle by hand.
Secure AI Coding (VibeGuard)
VibeGuard checks code at the moment an AI agent creates it, on the developer endpoint. Developers and their coding agents get real-time SAST and SCA feedback, and the tool protects skills and MCP connections and blocks destructive actions.
How It Works
The platform builds and maintains an inventory of applications, repositories, APIs and cloud assets with their owners. Findings from Legit’s scanners and from third-party tools are correlated along the path from code to cloud to runtime, scored, and sent on for remediation through tickets, pull requests or the remediation agents. Connectors cover both cloud and on-premises source control, including Azure DevOps Server and Bitbucket Server.
VibeGuard is a separate component that runs on the developer’s machine rather than as an editor plug-in that could be quietly switched off. It discovers every agent and plug-in running there and reports back to the platform.
Identities And Systems Covered

|---|---|
| Coding agents | Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and other agents discovered on developer endpoints. |
| MCP servers and AI models | Governed through supply chain policy and AI discovery. |
| Source control | GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket Cloud and Server, Azure DevOps Cloud and Server, Amazon CodeCommit. |
| Cloud and containers | AWS, Azure, Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Amazon ECR, Azure Container Registry. |
Agentic AI Capabilities
Oversight Of Coding Agents
VibeGuard records every command an agent runs, applies fine-grained MCP security, and prevents agents from disabling it. Insights from remediation flow back into the AI coding tools, with the aim that agents introduce fewer vulnerabilities over time.
AI Governance
AI discovery, policy enforcement, AI guardrails and AI Advisory give security teams control over how AI is used across development, from which models and MCP servers are allowed to how agents may act. Coding agents that need secrets get scoped, session-only access through a dedicated secrets MCP instead of long-lived keys.
