Levo is an API and AI security company. It helps application security teams find every API, AI agent, MCP server and LLM their applications use, test them for weaknesses and protect them in production, without sending sensitive traffic out of the customer’s environment.
Its buyers are security teams in regulated sectors, such as banking, insurance, fintech and healthcare, in North America and India.

What Levo Does
Modern applications are stitched together from internal and external APIs, and increasingly from LLMs, agents and MCP servers that call those APIs on a user’s behalf. Security teams often cannot say which of these exist, what data passes through them or who triggered a given action. Levo answers that by observing real traffic and turning it into a single control plane for API security and AI security posture.
Privacy is a design point: sensitive data in API payloads, prompts, embeddings and vector queries is detected inside the customer environment, so the control plane never needs raw data to leave the customer’s network.
Products
API Security
API Security is for teams that need to know what APIs they run and stop attacks against them. Its modules are API Inventory, API Documentation, API Monitoring, API Detection, API Protection, Vulnerabilities Reporting, Sensitive Data Discovery, MCP Server and API Security Testing. Protection runs inline with sub-millisecond overhead and ships with curated base policies that customers can approve or replace with their own. Agentless API discovery builds an inventory without deploying agents.
AI Security
AI Security brings the same treatment to the AI layer of an application. Its modules are Runtime AI Visibility, AI Monitoring and Governance, AI Threat Detection, AI Attack Protection, AI Red-Teaming, AI Gateway, AI Firewall, MCP Discovery and MCP Security Testing.
- AI Firewall protects in-house AI from prompt attacks, unsafe tool calls and sensitive data leaks, runs inside the customer environment and can be rolled out in stages from monitor to alert to block
- AI Gateway governs employee use of third party AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Cursor
Web App Scanner
The Web App Scanner logs into web applications and maps their API endpoints from the outside, useful where a sensor cannot be deployed.
How It Works
Levo has two components. A Sensor runs alongside application workloads and captures live traffic using eBPF at the kernel layer, so it rebuilds runtime graphs without code changes or developer effort. The Sensor sends that traffic to a Satellite for processing.
The Satellite can be hosted by Levo or by the customer, on-premises, in the cloud or in a hybrid set up. Traffic is processed inside the customer environment, so sensitive payloads stay on the customer network and only scrubbed metadata leaves it. The data engine captures and samples only the minimal data it needs.
Findings feed back into engineering work. Block events and remediation details go to Jira and Slack, and attack patterns seen in production become new test cases and proposed temporary shielding.
Identities And Systems Covered
| Non-human identities | Attributed in traffic, with their token scopes and authentication states |
|---|---|
| Authorisation context | Shows who authorised an action as distinct from who executed it |
| AI agents and MCP servers | Inventoried with ownership and lineage, then tested and monitored |
| LLMs and vector stores | External and internal LLMs, gateways, embeddings and vector stores |
| APIs | Internal and external APIs, with enforcement based on runtime API context and identity |
Agentic AI Capabilities
Discovery And Tracing
Levo finds unsanctioned agents, LLM calls and third party AI services, and traces prompts, responses, tokens and downstream API calls across agents, MCP servers and LLMs. MCP Discovery adds an inventory, risk scoring and policy enforcement for MCP servers.
Testing
MCP Security Testing validates MCP servers at scale against the OWASP MCP Top 10. Broader dynamic tests target prompt injection, tool abuse and collusion between agents.
Runtime Protection
Agent actions can be blocked or constrained before they reach downstream systems, including MCP-style tool integrations. Monitoring flags drift, anomalies and policy violations across agents, LLM sessions and MCP orchestration, and remediation can include MCP generated custom patches.
