M2SYS builds biometric identification and e-government technology for governments, hospitals, prisons, banks and employers that need to know for certain who a person is.
It matches fingerprints, faces, irises and finger veins at national scale, removes duplicate identities from very large databases, and gives governments a platform for building digital citizen services on top.

What M2SYS Does
Identity programmes fail when the same person can enrol twice or when a clinic cannot tell two patients apart. M2SYS addresses that with biometrics, then layers digital services on the verified identity. The approach is layered: capture biometric data from many brands of scanner, match it one-to-many as a service, and let applications for patient identification and government processes build on that verified identity. The same matching services sit behind its deployments for governments, hospitals, prisons, banks and employers, whether they run as a cloud API or as on-premises middleware.
Products
CloudABIS
CloudABIS is biometrics-as-a-service: developers call an API and M2SYS runs the matching engine in its own cloud. It handles face, fingerprint, finger vein and iris against large galleries, so an organisation can add one-to-many identification without operating its own matching servers. Client-side deployment is plug-and-play for biometric devices and any web browser.
CloudScanr
Integrating fingerprint and other scanners into Windows applications and web pages is usually fiddly driver work. CloudScanr is a capture tool that takes that work away from application developers.
HyperDeduplicator
HyperDeduplicator is a one-to-many deduplication server for fingerprint, finger vein, facial and iris data. It loads the whole template database onto one server and compares every record against the rest, which suits banks, micro-credit lenders, membership schemes and access control systems that must stop people holding more than one identity.
Hybrid Biometric Platform
This is a multimodal system covering fingerprint, face, iris and finger vein identification. Applications integrate through Bio-Plugin middleware or the CloudABIS API, which keeps them free of any single hardware vendor’s SDK.
RightPatient
RightPatient lets hospitals and health systems in the United States identify patients biometrically, protecting patient identities and reducing record mix-ups.
EGov Platform
The eGov platform brings complex government processes into one application ecosystem, with AI features and an app builder for creating citizen-facing services.
How It Works
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cloud matching | Applications connect to the CloudABIS Web API, and M2SYS manages the matching system for fingerprint, face and iris deployments. |
| On-premises option | Fingerprint and finger vein deployments that must stay on site use Bio-Plugin. |
| Device layer | CloudScanr and Bio-Plugin connect scanners from different manufacturers to web and Windows applications. |
| Interoperability | The platform connects to third-party systems and other ABIS providers, so it can sit alongside an existing identification system rather than replace it. |
| Scale | Matching runs on ISO fingerprint templates in M2SYS’s cloud at a reported rate of millions of comparisons a second, while HyperDeduplicator works from a single server holding the full database. |
Identities And Systems Covered
