Understanding Miggo

Miggo is an application security company that protects live applications, AI applications and agents at runtime. It is aimed at security and engineering teams with more exploitable vulnerabilities than they can patch quickly, and it closes that gap by mitigating the vulnerabilities that are actually exploitable while the fix is still on its way.

Its message to customers is short: “Mitigate Now. Patch When You’re Ready.” The platform combines Application Detection and Response (ADR) with AI runtime security.

What Miggo Does

Miggo is built around the exploitability window: the time between a vulnerability becoming exploitable and the moment it is protected. The company measures this as Time to Verified Mitigation (TTVM) and aims to bring it down to minutes, against a reported industry average of more than 60 days. The approach is to understand the live application first, prove which findings are reachable by an attacker, and protect only those until the code is fixed, so patching can follow the normal release cycle. The same runtime view is extended to AI applications and agents.

Products

Miggo Know

Miggo Know gives teams a live map of their applications, which is often missing in environments full of microservices and third-party services. It shows how applications connect, including what is reachable from the internet, detects drift and sensitive data flows, and keeps discovering new first-party and third-party services. The result is a live Application Graph of data connections, flaws, changes and runtime anomalies.

Miggo Prove

Miggo Prove tackles the prioritisation problem: long scanner backlogs where few findings matter. It validates vulnerabilities at runtime and scores them by attack-path exploitability. Its DeepTracing engine narrows a finding down to the exact service, instance and function that is exploitable, and it walks through the attack path step by step.

Miggo Shield And WAF Copilot

Miggo Shield protects applications while a patch is pending. WAF Copilot writes WAF rules specific to one vulnerability and one environment, including virtual patches, and Miggo Rulesets are available for AWS WAF.

Predictive Vulnerability Database

The Predictive Vulnerability Database tracks emerging vulnerabilities, with coverage pages for new issues that supply ready WAF rules for several cloud and CDN providers.

How It Works

Miggo builds its context from live applications rather than static scans, using real-time runtime data that does not depend on logs. Its inventory covers data sources, cloud resources, API endpoints and domains.

ComponentWhat it does
AppDNAA runtime context graph that forms a digital twin of the live application environment.
Mitigation EngineApplies blocking tailored to the environment for each exploitable vulnerability.
AI AttackerRe-runs the exploit after mitigation to verify that the protection works.

Runtime Intelligence also works with Grafana Cloud, so risk decisions can draw on Grafana telemetry.

Agentic AI Capabilities

AI Runtime Observability

Miggo continuously discovers and controls the agentic topology of an environment. It generates a Runtime AI Bill of Materials that maps agents, models, tools and data access paths, and it surfaces shadow AI and unauthorised model changes.

AI Threat Detection

The platform detects prompt injection, adversarial inputs, malicious or abnormal tool calls by agents and anomalous agent behaviour. Detection works inside non-deterministic AI flows whatever the initial attack vector.

AI Threat Response

Guardrails cover model usage, tool access and data permissions. Unsafe agent actions are blocked, and security teams get response actions to contain incidents.
