MIND is a data loss prevention (DLP) and insider risk company that uses AI to find, classify and protect sensitive data handled by employees and by AI agents. It is built for security teams that want DLP running largely on autopilot instead of maintaining rules and chasing false alerts.
The problem has grown with AI. Sensitive data now flows not only through email and file shares but into GenAI tools and through agents acting on employees’ behalf, and rule-based DLP struggles to keep up with either. MIND aims to protect that data wherever it moves, at rest and in motion.

What MIND Does
Traditional DLP programmes are known for long deployments, brittle regex rules and a steady stream of false positives. MIND sets out to replace that with “posture and prevention together” in one platform: data security posture management, loss prevention and insider risk management, with remediation handled automatically wherever possible. There is no regex to write before the platform starts working. Classification by AI models rather than pattern matching is the foundation, since it can label unstructured content that rule-based DLP tends to miss, and every later control depends on getting that label right.
Products
Discovery And Classification
Security teams often do not know where their sensitive data sits, especially in unstructured files and messages. MIND continuously discovers that data across every connected source and classifies it in several layers using both content and context. Classification can be shared with Microsoft Purview so both tools work from the same labels.
Detection And Response
Detection and response analyses billions of signals in real time to spot data exposure and risky behaviour. Each incident is enriched with context, so analysts see what happened and why it matters, and exposure can be remediated without manual work.
Prevention And Coaching
Prevention stops sensitive data from leaving the organisation as it happens. Rather than only blocking, it can coach the user in the moment or escalate to the security team, which helps reduce repeat mistakes without slowing people down.
AI DLP Agents
AI DLP Agents are for teams stretched by the volume of DLP work. They take over much of the routine effort of running an enterprise programme, including investigating incidents, tuning policies and fixing issues.
GenAI And AI Agent Protection
Separate solutions secure employee use of GenAI tools and safeguard data that AI agents can reach. They apply the same classification and prevention controls to machine activity as to people, so an agent pulling a customer file is governed like an employee doing the same.
How It Works
MIND runs as one connected platform, and data moves through it in a fixed order.
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Connect | MIND plugs into each source of sensitive data through its connectors and starts discovery straight away. |
| Classify | The MIND AI engine runs multiple proprietary AI models over unstructured data found in those sources. |
| Apply policies | Risk-based policies take effect once data is classified, so controls follow what the data is rather than where it sits. |
| Observe and respond | On endpoints, MIND observes endpoint and user behaviour and responds by blocking, coaching or escalating. |
