Understanding MineOS

MineOS helps privacy, legal and risk teams keep track of the personal data and AI systems their organisation runs, and meet the laws that govern both. It is aimed at companies facing GDPR, CCPA and similar rules alongside newer AI regulation such as the EU AI Act, which need an accurate inventory, answered data requests and documented assessments without running each task by hand.

The work it automates is repetitive and spread across many systems, which is why much of it is now carried out by agents rather than by privacy staff filling in forms.

What MineOS Does

Privacy programmes break down when nobody knows which systems hold personal data or which AI tools staff have adopted. MineOS starts with discovery: it finds systems, vendors, data and AI use across SaaS, databases, email, codebases and cloud, and classifies what it finds. That inventory then drives the rest of the work, from answering a data subject request to filling in a DPIA or reviewing a vendor.

AI governance applies the same approach to AI systems and agents, judging each one on its real business impact rather than technical risk alone.

Products

AI Governance And Agent Posture Management

This module answers a question many organisations cannot: which AI systems, agents, models and tools are in use, and how risky is each one? AI Radar scans systems, SaaS tools and codebases for internal and third-party AI, across endpoints, SaaS, identity and cloud. Each finding gets a posture view that combines security and business context with vendor status, policies, assessments and regulatory requirements. Built-in workflows cover the EU AI Act, ISO 42001 and NIST.

DSR Automation And Privacy Center

Privacy teams swamped by access and deletion requests use DSR Automation to handle them end to end, from intake to fulfilment, with workflows for GDPR, CCPA, CPRA and other laws. The Autopilot Engine accepts, rejects and fulfils requests, data is extracted from emails, documents and logs, and HR requests from employees are covered too. A branded Privacy Center lets people submit and track their own requests.

Inventory Discovery, Data Classification And Privacy Risk Assessments

These modules build the data map the platform depends on, finding where personal data lives and labelling it so the other modules know what each system holds. Assessments then start from that inventory to produce the records regulators expect, including RoPA, DPIAs, PIAs, LIAs and TIAs, instead of from a blank questionnaire.

Third-Party Risk Management And Consent Management

Third-Party Risk Management tracks the privacy risk of vendors. Consent Management handles cookie and consent preferences, using AI to classify cookies.

How It Works

MineOS runs as a cloud service on Google Cloud Platform with data centres in Western Europe, and was designed around GDPR from the start.

ComponentWhat it does
Hosting and encryptionData is encrypted in transit and at rest, and outdated ciphers and protocols are disabled.
Integration BuilderA no-code builder chains connections between systems, with fully customisable API connections. Documented examples include moving users to marketing blacklists in Marketo when a request arrives and passing tasks and tickets to ServiceNow.
Least privilegeConnections to third-party SaaS use only the permissions needed to search for, retrieve, and delete or anonymise a person’s records.

Agentic AI Capabilities

Mira AI is a team of agents that observe, decide and act, with people guiding strategy and oversight. Besides running discovery, agent posture and DSR Autopilot inside the modules above, it adds:

Vendor ScoutAssesses vendors continuously and maps their privacy risk
AutofillCompletes assessments from organisational context and live data
TransferFinds cross-border data transfers and assesses what they require
eDiscoverySearches, reviews, classifies and redacts data across SaaS, databases, email and documents
