Mvine is a London software company that helps organisations onboard, verify and give access to the people they work with, from employees and suppliers to members and citizens. It pairs a digital identity orchestration platform with a digital business platform for building secure portals and mobile apps.
The problem it solves is trust at the edge of an organisation: deciding who an outside person really is, what they may reach, and doing it without building and storing a separate identity database for every relationship.

What Mvine Does
Organisations that deal with many outside parties face a choice between building their own identity checks or trusting someone else’s. Mvine lets them accept trusted credentials from external providers and internal identity providers without storing or duplicating identity data. Its brokering platform is certified for public sector and enterprise-grade assurance and aligned with UK government assurance frameworks.
The verified identity then drives what each person sees and can do in the portals and apps the organisation runs. The approach is “Zero Trust by Design”, applied to business ecosystems, supply chains and marketplaces as well as to individual users.
Products
User Onboarding
User Onboarding handles the first contact with a new user, whether that is an invited employee or a member of the public signing up. Flows can be invite-only, moderated or self-service:
- Self-service flows with email verification and MFA
- Different flows by user type and assurance level
- Verification through enterprise SSO, government ID or a biometric check
- Merging of attributes from ID scans and biometrics, with conflict resolution and trust scoring
- Logging of verification events
Government Certified Identity Brokering
Public sector bodies and regulated firms that need high assurance use the broker to combine several identity sources under one policy-governed trust layer:
- Federation across mobile and digital identity providers such as Mobile Connect, Yoti and iProov
- Acceptance of organisation-issued credentials such as NHS smartcards and MOD ID
- Biometric and document checks, including facial recognition, NFC passport scanning and liveness detection
- Brokering without holding users’ source credentials
Digital Wallets
The wallet is a policy-aware container for credentials, passes, tokens and entitlements, delivered through a web portal, mobile app or embedded module. Entries are generated from verified identity data and role assignments, so a user only holds what they are entitled to. Entries can be time-bound, delegated, auto-expired or revoked remotely, and every use is logged.
Digital Business Platform
The business platform covers content management, digital asset management and communication management. Organisations use it for customer portals, document management, virtual data rooms and crisis management.
How It Works
The identity platform runs as UK-hosted SaaS, as a hybrid deployment or as on-premise containers. The wallet can be bought as a standalone module or as part of the wider range.
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Identity sources | External providers and internal identity providers supply verified attributes; Mvine does not store the source credentials. |
| Policy layer | Context-based rules combine time, location, device risk and credential recency to decide access. |
| IdP proxy | A standards-compliant IdP proxy acts as a federated identity broker for connected applications. |
| Experience layer | Portals and apps adapt the interface by role, entitlement category or channel. |
