Understanding Nagomi Security

Nagomi Security helps security teams close the gap between finding exposures and fixing them. Its Agentic Exposure Operations Platform connects to the security tools an organisation already owns, works out which vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and control gaps actually put assets at risk, and uses AI agents to investigate, remediate and confirm each fix.

The platform is built for enterprise security and vulnerability teams that are buried in findings from many tools and need ownership, action and proof rather than another list.

What Nagomi Does

“Findings don’t reduce risk. Fixes do.” Most exposure programmes stall between the two, so Nagomi replaces a fragmented process with a continuous, agent-driven one. Its agents weigh exposure across vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, threats, controls and assets, then assign an owner, coordinate the teams involved and keep checking that the fix holds. It does this on top of existing tools and staff rather than replacing them.

A core part of the approach is Automated Security Control Assessment: confirming on each asset that a control is running and effective, not just installed.

Products

Agentic Exposure Operations Platform

Nagomi sells a single platform built around three jobs.

  • Attack Surface Management tells teams whether each asset is genuinely protected, by checking the state of its controls rather than trusting the deployment inventory.
  • Exposure Management helps them decide what to fix first by focusing on exposures that create real risk in their own environment.
  • Exposure Governance gives security leaders ownership, policy and evidence over time, so they can show the board and auditors that risk is going down.

Underneath sit five modules: Asset Intelligence, Toxic Combinations, which finds dangerous overlaps of weaknesses on the same asset, Agentic Investigation, Exploit Verification and One-click Neutralization.

How It Works

Nagomi is delivered as SaaS and connects through read-only APIs to the EDR, identity, firewall and vulnerability tools a customer already runs, with no software to install on endpoints. Data from those tools is merged into one correlated exposure view.

The agents then work through four stages: Always-on Discovery, Contextual Investigation, Targeted Neutralization and Validated Closure. Any action that changes state follows the approval path the customer has configured, and each fix is monitored for a set period after it is closed. Every verdict traces back to the customer’s own tools and names the asset, control, configuration and technique involved.

Agentic AI Capabilities

AI Exposure Eliminators

The agents work as a team of specialists, splitting triage, enrichment, correlation and validation between them. They run investigations, select a remediation and check closure without being prompted, while a person authorises the one-click fix. Verification continues afterwards from the sensor itself, and the agents learn from each cycle.

Intelligence-Driven Tasks

Through the partnership with Recorded Future, each change in threat intelligence, such as a newly mapped technique or a CVE that becomes actively weaponised, sets agents checking the customer’s environment for the conditions an attacker would need. Rather than simply flagging relevance, they test exploitability and return a verdict with a named owner and a remediation plan the same day. The same feed supplies the leaked workforce credentials described above.
