OFFENSAI is a cloud security company that tests cloud environments the way an attacker would. It is for security teams that have more cloud findings than they can fix and need to know which ones an attacker could actually exploit today.
The problem is that a list of misconfigurations says little about real risk. Risk comes from how identities, permissions and services chain together, and OFFENSAI proves which of those chains work.

What OFFENSAI Does
Cloud environments change daily, and periodic penetration tests or scripted checks fall behind those changes. OFFENSAI models the customer’s cloud precisely, generates the paths an adversary could take, and validates each one with real adversarial behaviour inside the customer’s environment.
It works both from the outside, using only public signals, and from the inside, through connections to the customer’s cloud accounts, with AI agents carrying out the validation. Every validated finding comes with technical evidence, the affected assets and remediation guidance, and nothing runs without the customer’s approval.
Products
OFFENSAI Platform
The platform is the shared engine behind both validation products. It models identities, permissions, services and trust relationships in the detail an attacker would use, monitors live cloud changes and chains them into new attack paths as they appear. It adds:
- A configurable evasion engine that shows which security controls fire and which miss
- Detection and prevention policies generated for each cloud identity
- The Cloud Security Impact Rating (CSIR), which ranks validated paths by exploitability, blast radius, detection difficulty and business impact
External Attack Validation
External Attack Validation shows what an outsider can learn and exploit with no credentials at all. It maps externally visible cloud infrastructure from domains, code repositories and public records, then enumerates the resources it finds and rates them by severity and value to an attacker. Typical findings include writable S3 buckets, exposed RDS snapshots, public git repositories and leaked access keys.
Cloud Exposure Validation
Cloud Exposure Validation works inside connected cloud accounts for teams that need to know how far an attacker could move after getting in. It uncovers and validates multi-step chains involving IAM abuse, privilege escalation, lateral movement and cross-account role assumption. Techniques are mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, and evidence is mapped to NIST, NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR for audit use.
ATTACKSTUDIO
ATTACKSTUDIO is the operator console. Security engineers use it to compose custom multi-step validation chains visually and to control their own campaigns.
How It Works
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Connection | Cloud accounts connect through native APIs with read-only access, and no agents are installed on hosts. |
| Hybrid SaaS | The orchestration layer runs on OFFENSAI infrastructure, while the attack engine runs in the customer’s own AWS, Azure or GCP environment, so sensitive customer data never leaves those accounts. |
| Access controls | The platform uses short-lived IAM roles with tightly scoped permissions. |
| Formal proof engine | A z3 Datalog engine proves which attack paths exist. |
| Universal Offensive Ontology | The UOO maps thousands of cloud-specific actions into 11 universal attack primitives. |
| Persistent graph | Findings are stored in a graph that carries results from one run to the next. |
| Connected tools | The platform connects to Wiz, Jira and Slack. |
Identities And Systems Covered
| Cloud identities | IAM permissions, roles and trust relationships, including cross-account role assumption (sts:AssumeRole) |
|---|---|
| Federated trust | OIDC trust relationships, such as a wildcard GitLab OIDC trust |
| Secrets and keys | Leaked access keys and references to Secrets Manager |
| Cloud platforms | AWS, Azure, GCP and Kubernetes |
| Resources | Storage buckets, compute, data stores, RDS snapshots and code repositories |
Agentic AI Capabilities
| Autonomous discovery | AI agents explore the modelled environment on their own, finding attack sequences and verifying them in the customer’s cloud |
|---|---|
| Agent O | Executes proven paths end to end on demand and produces a full report for each run, as the automated alternative to building chains by hand in ATTACKSTUDIO |
| OFFENSAI Agents Network | Links discovery, proof, execution and learning in one loop, so each validated attack path improves the next round of discovery |
