Understanding Outtake

Outtake is a digital risk protection company that finds and removes threats to an organisation that live outside its own network: impersonation, fraud, phishing sites, fake domains, malicious apps and dark web activity. It uses autonomous AI agents to search for these threats, investigate who is behind them and take them down.

The platform is built for brands, executives and institutions targeted by attackers who borrow their name, likeness or products.

What Outtake Does

Attackers increasingly work with cloned domains, fake ads, fraudulent apps, executive impersonation, doxxing, counterfeit storefronts and resold access, none of which pass through a company’s firewall. Outtake watches more than 100 platforms, marketplaces and dark web sources for these signals and traces each one back to the wider adversarial network that produced it, so a takedown removes the operation rather than a single page.

The work is done by agents running in parallel, with no ticket queue or analyst gate between detection and takedown, and Outtake reports an average takedown time of 14.4 hours. Results feed an organisation’s existing security stack rather than replacing it.

Products

Brand Protection

Brand Protection deals with the cloned domains, fake ads and fraudulent apps that trade on a company’s identity. It recognises phishing sites by their copied visual identity rather than their URL, and fake apps that copy its branding while leaving out the company name, then files takedowns across every infrastructure provider involved.

Executive Protection

Senior leaders are targeted with impersonation, fraud, credential theft and blackmail. Executive Protection looks for doxxed home addresses and leaked personal data, and for deepfakes and cloned voices across text, image, video and audio, with roughly 15 minutes from signal to alert.

Product Protection

Companies with free tiers, trials or paid API access face abuse such as trial credit harvesting, grey market storefronts and token fraud. Product Protection monitors these access channels, finds forum threads reselling harvested API tokens, and maps the resale network behind a single unauthorised listing.

Location Protection And Narrative Intelligence

Location Protection monitors threats to venues and events. Narrative Intelligence follows coordinated narratives back to the actors spreading them.

How It Works

The platform is built from a small set of components that share one store of context.

ComponentWhat it does
Agentic SearchContinuously monitors the customer’s digital footprint across social platforms, messaging, domains, the dark web, advertising, app stores and code repositories, handling text, image, video and audio natively.
Digital ReservoirHolds context on entities, suspicious variants, fraudulent assets, adversaries and takedown evidence, so each new case draws on everything seen before.
Threat GraphMaps adversarial networks and links coordinated narratives to their actors.
Recon AgentTakes a single signal, traces it to its origin and expands it across the adversarial network.
Adaptive WorkflowsRoutes each threat into a response path. Reinforcement learning from each completed takedown improves both the routing and the next search and investigation.
Security operations integrationFindings flow into the customer’s SIEM, SOAR and ticketing systems through standard integrations and the Model Context Protocol.
