Quasr is a customer identity and access management (CIAM) platform for developers who build login, consent and account management into their own applications. It runs within the European Union and is designed for organisations that need EU data residency and GDPR compliance.
It takes on the authentication flows, privacy rules and consent records that come with customer identity, so development teams can concentrate on their own product.

What Quasr Does
Quasr treats customer identity as an API problem. The service is “100% API-based and standards-obsessed”, built on OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, JWT and GraphQL, so developers integrate it the same way they integrate any other backend service. End users look after their own accounts in hosted screens, and administrators run each tenant from an admin interface. Hosting stays in the EU, and the service is built for European national ID integrations, which matters to organisations that must keep identity data inside Europe.
Products
Quasr is one CIAM platform. Its capabilities fall into four areas.
Login And MFA
Applications can switch on as many authentication factors as they need and let users choose between them. Options include social logins, OIDC identity providers, passwordless flows, passwords and one-time passwords by email, SMS or authenticator app.
Consent And Access Control
A control can be an OAuth scope, an identity claim or a piece of legal text. Applications can require consent before a user accepts legal terms or reaches a sensitive control, which gives teams a record that supports GDPR compliance.
Tenants And B2B
Large multi-brand or B2B setups can connect several tenants together. Tenants can be attached to or moved between subscriptions, and tenant creation can be automated.
Extensions And Automation
Customer code can run on events from the Authentication and Management APIs, so teams can add their own logic to sign-up or configuration changes. Combined with the Management API, this lets DevOps teams treat identity configuration as part of their automated pipelines.
How It Works
Quasr is a cloud service hosted in the European Union, built from hosted interfaces on top of three APIs.
| Hosted interfaces | The Login UI runs sign up and login, the Account UI gives users self-service over their own account, and the Admin UI manages a tenant |
|---|---|
| Authentication API | Login and sign up flows with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect, used by the Login UI |
| Management API | Users, tenants and configuration through GraphQL |
| Agent API | Exposes the Management API to AI agents over the Model Context Protocol (MCP) |
Identities And Systems Covered
