RoboForm is a password manager for individuals, families and businesses, built by Siber Systems, Inc. It keeps logins and personal data in an encrypted vault, fills them into websites and forms with one click, and gives companies central control over how employees store and share credentials.
It is meant for people and teams who would otherwise remember, reuse or share passwords in unsafe ways.

What RoboForm Does
RoboForm removes the need to remember or reuse passwords. Users save logins once, and the app fills them on any device where they sign in with their Master Password. Personal plans serve individuals and households. RoboForm for Business gives every employee separate personal and work vaults, and lets administrators enforce policy, connect the company’s identity provider, provision users automatically and report on password health. Everything rests on a zero-knowledge design: data is encrypted and decrypted on the user’s own device, and the Master Password never reaches RoboForm’s servers.
Products
Personal Plans
The entry personal tier stores unlimited passwords on one device and includes the TOTP authenticator. Premium adds secure sharing, shared folders and Emergency Access. Family bundles five Premium accounts for a household. All plans include a password generator, and Data Breach Monitoring checks up to five email addresses against known breaches.
RoboForm For Business
RoboForm for Business is for organisations that want employees to use strong, unique passwords without losing visibility of shared credentials. Its main parts:
| Admin Center | Control over user onboarding, company settings and security policies, plus data management, audits and device access. |
|---|---|
| SSO and SCIM | Sign-in through the company identity provider (Microsoft Entra, Okta, Google Workspace, Ping or OneLogin), and automatic provisioning and deprovisioning of users. |
| Sharing | Credential sharing in which the sender sets the recipient’s access level, with several sharing tiers. |
| Policies | Required 2FA, strong password rules and access restrictions. |
| Security dashboard | Password health and compliance insights per employee, group and company, combined with breach monitoring. |
| Reports | Exportable activity logs and compliance-ready reports. |
How It Works
RoboForm for Business has run as a SaaS product since 2015, with client apps doing the encryption locally.
| Client apps | Browser extensions for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera and Safari, desktop apps for Windows and Mac, mobile apps for iOS and Android, and web access. |
|---|---|
| Encryption | AES-256 with PBKDF2 SHA-256, using a key derived from the Master Password, to resist dictionary and brute force attacks. |
| Zero knowledge | RoboForm has no way to learn the Master Password or read vault data. |
| Authentication | Passkeys, trusted devices and hardware security keys, as well as email, SMS and TOTP authenticator apps. |
| Sync and import | Data syncs automatically while the user is logged in, and logins can be imported from browsers or other password managers. |
Identities And Systems Covered
| Human user credentials | Website logins, form data and shared credentials in personal and work vaults. |
|---|---|
| Passkeys and hardware keys | Used for vault unlock and two-factor authentication. |
| One-time codes | TOTP codes generated by the built-in authenticator. |
| Devices | Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, ChromeOS and Linux. |
