Route1 serves parking, enforcement and mobility operators that use automatic licence plate recognition (ALPR), helping them run those systems day to day and turn plate reads and video into operational intelligence. It also keeps a line of secure access and identity management products for public sector and mission-critical organisations that work in controlled environments.
For ALPR customers the problem is that plate reading systems need tuning and support long after installation; for the security line it is giving staff remote access to protected systems without exposing the internal network.

What Route1 Does
Route1 works with municipalities, universities and mobility, parking and public sector organisations. On the operations side, a single support programme bundles lifecycle support, the Route1 ABI analytics application and recurring engagement, so an operator has one partner for cameras, data and ongoing tuning. Route1 stays engaged after go-live instead of handing the system over at installation.
On the security side, Route1 offers secure operational access and identity management for controlled environments. These products let staff reach protected data and systems remotely without opening the internal network to the devices they use.
Products
MobiNET / DEFIMNET Platform
MobiNET / DEFIMNET is the identity management and secure access infrastructure behind the security line. It serves organisations that run controlled operational environments and need to decide which workforce users can reach which systems.
MobiKEY
MobiKEY gives users secure remote access to data from any device, wherever they are. It authenticates with smartcards and PKI-based multifactor authentication, an approach familiar to government and defence users who already carry such cards. MobiKEY-X offers the same kind of operational access without dedicated endpoint hardware.
PocketVault P-3X And NcryptNshare
PocketVault P-3X is secure access technology built for identity protection, operational continuity and controlled system connectivity. It provides offline secure access to data, for situations where a network connection is not available or not allowed. NcryptNshare handles access to protected data inside controlled operational environments, for teams that must share sensitive files under tight control.
Route1 ABI
Route1 ABI (Actionable Business Intelligence) turns ALPR and video data into real-time insight. Parking operators use it to optimise space, follow compliance and protect data, and to see how their workflows are performing.
ALPR Operations And Lifecycle Support
Route1 supplies Genetec AutoVu ALPR with fixed and mobile cameras and backs it with ongoing lifecycle support and operations. MobiLPR extends ALPR to an Android device, giving patrol staff the data and analytics of a camera on a phone.
Mr. Parking
Mr. Parking adds an operational capability to live parking environments, starting with enforcement and patrol operations. It is delivered within existing customer relationships rather than as a standalone system.
How It Works
ALPR cameras, fixed or vehicle-mounted, read plates with a machine-learning recognition engine designed to hold accuracy in varying weather. The reads and associated video flow into Route1 ABI, which converts them into operational intelligence for the operator.
MobiKEY uses an outbound-only design. All connections start from inside the enterprise network, so there are no inbound ports to open, and the remote device never becomes a node on that network. Files stay inside the network and nothing is left on the remote device.
