Understanding Seamfix

Seamfix is an identity and trust infrastructure company that helps governments, regulators and enterprises redesign, digitise and run processes where getting identity wrong is costly, such as SIM registration, bank onboarding, passport renewal and controlled exams. It combines consulting, its own technology and delivery across several markets.

The core idea is to establish who a person is once and then confirm it at each moment that matters, with evidence that stands up to a regulator. That applies to the public being served and to the staff, agents and contractors who carry out the process on an organisation’s behalf.

What Seamfix Does

Seamfix focuses on trust-critical processes: the points where a mistaken identity leads to fraud, a regulatory breach or a failed public service. The Seamfix Platform can be the foundation of a new service or sit underneath systems an organisation already runs, adding identity proofing, biometrics and an audit trail without a rip-and-replace. The same evidence covers the people who operate inside those processes, not only the customers passing through them, and Seamfix can take on the redesign and running of a process as well as supplying the technology.

Products

Seamfix Platform

The platform is the configurable core used by every Seamfix solution. Its capabilities fall into four groups:

  • Experiences: capture anywhere, configurable forms, review and approval
  • Trust services: identity and authentication, biometric services, credential services
  • Integration: connections to existing systems and authoritative data sources through APIs
  • Governance: multi-tenant governance, device management, reporting and audit

Fixiam

Fixiam governs the people inside high-risk processes. Employees, contractors, field agents and exam candidates become verified actors, backed by biometric assurance, lifecycle policy and an audit trail tied to the individual. It adds assurance at selected high-risk points alongside the identity systems already in place, which suits organisations that need to prove who actually performed an action, approved a transaction or sat an exam. It works in four steps: enrol the person, apply policy, authenticate at the relevant action and record the evidence.

Sector Solutions

Packaged solutions apply the platform to specific markets:

BioSmartXSubscriber identity and biometric KYC for mobile operators
Cross-Network Agent Governance PlatformIdentity and governance for telecoms agents working across networks
SimSureAssurance for SIM operations across networks
FinSmartEKYC, customer due diligence and onboarding evidence for financial services
ePassDigital passport and credential services for governments
InsureGovTrust infrastructure for insurance markets
FixIDBiometric-backed credential lifecycle for workforce and controlled environments

Transformation And Consulting

The consulting practice works with clients that need to rebuild a process rather than buy a tool. It assesses the current process, redesigns it, implements the new version and can operate it afterwards.

How It Works

Hosting and data residency are set per programme to match the architecture and the contract, and biometric storage is designed case by case rather than to one universal pattern. Purpose, data minimisation, access, residency, retention and deletion are addressed for each programme.

ComponentWhat it does
Identity and authenticationA person is established once and confirmed at later actions, with each authentication event recorded against person, role, device and policy.
Reporting and auditEvidence is recorded centrally and governed across many tenants, which is how one ecosystem can serve a reported 170 or more organisations.
