Seclore is a data security company that helps organisations keep control of sensitive files once they leave the systems where they were created. Its protection is attached to the data itself, so usage rules, revocation and audit follow a document to partners, suppliers and AI agents as well as to employees.
It is built for organisations that must share sensitive files outside their own walls, such as manufacturers sending designs to suppliers, and still answer for what happens to them.

What Seclore Does
Sensitive data rarely stays put. It is emailed to suppliers, copied into SharePoint, pulled into ERP and PLM systems and, more and more, read by AI tools. Network and storage controls stop at the edge of the system that holds the file. Seclore takes a different route and embeds the policy in the file, so the owner decides what each person or agent can do with it wherever it ends up. The approach follows a four-step cycle, “Discover, Context, Enforce, Prove”: find sensitive data, record why it matters, protect it in a way that moves with it, and show that the controls work.
Products
Seclore ARMOR
ARMOR is the platform that holds the Seclore modules and gives them one policy model. Security teams that want to know where sensitive data sits, who is using it and whether it is protected can manage all of that from one place.
| DSPM | Discovery of sensitive data and its security posture |
|---|---|
| Data Classification | Labelling of discovered data so policies can act on it |
| AI-DLP | Data loss prevention with context-aware policies that adapt to the threat, aimed at organisations adopting enterprise AI |
| Insights | Reporting and continuous evidence of security posture for compliance teams |
Seclore EDRM
Seclore EDRM is for teams that share sensitive documents, such as CAD drawings sent to suppliers, and need to keep control of them afterwards. It attaches usage policies to files so the controls travel with documents, emails and attachments outside the organisation.
- Granular usage rights that decide whether an authorised user can print, copy text or take a screenshot
- Expiry dates and instant remote revocation when access is no longer needed
- Dynamic watermarks carrying the username, date, time and other details
- An audit trail of activity by internal and external users, with reports that reveal patterns and anomalies
How It Works
EDRM can be deployed in the cloud, on-premises or in air gapped environments. Protection is applied to the data rather than to the network or the storage location, so it holds regardless of where the file is stored or sent.
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enforcement point | Policy checks run each time a protected file is opened, wherever the file now sits. |
| Compliance evidence | Audit trails and Insights produce evidence for regulations including PCI-DSS, ITAR, GLBA, NIST, NYCRR, CCPA, DORA, GDPR, NIS2, SDAIA-PDPL, UAE-PDPL, IRDAI and DPDP. |
| Hot folders | File servers are protected through hot folders that work with Windows, Linux and EMC storage, among others. |
Identities And Systems Covered
| Internal users | Employees governed by usage controls and audit trails |
|---|---|
| External users | Partners and suppliers, whose access to shared files can be revoked at any time |
| AI agents | Treated as another party whose access to protected data is controlled and traced |
| Data locations | Microsoft 365, SharePoint, file servers, ERP, CRM and EFSS platforms, and PLM applications |
Agentic AI Capabilities
AI Data Discovery And Control
AI agents fall under the same policy model as people, so an agent reading a protected file gets only the access its policy allows. Every action on protected data is audited, with full traceability across AI-driven and human workflows, so an investigator can tell whether a person or an agent acted. AI data discovery finds the sensitive data that AI tools can reach, and Seclore has partnered with Glean on protecting the data that enterprise AI uses.
