Signzy is an identity verification and compliance company that helps banks, credit unions, remittance firms, gaming operators and other regulated businesses verify, onboard and monitor their customers. It sells KYC, KYB and AML checks as APIs, so a business can confirm who a person or company is, screen them for financial crime risk and keep watching them after onboarding.
The problem it addresses is the cost of compliance at scale: every new customer has to be checked against many sources, and the checks do not stop once the account is open.

What Signzy Does
Taking on a new customer in a regulated industry means confirming identity, screening against sanctions and politically exposed person lists, spotting fraud and keeping records the regulator will accept, and then repeating much of that as the relationship continues. Signzy turns each of those steps into an API, grouped into identity verification, compliance and risk management, business verification and regional compliance stacks for India, the US and the Middle East, with country coverage for Mexico, the UAE, Canada, Brazil and Kenya.
Customers can call the APIs directly or assemble them into onboarding journeys without writing code. Packaged products then target specific problems, from mule accounts to central KYC reporting, and Contract 360 extends the same approach to digital contracts and e-signatures. Signzy has verified a reported one billion users.
Products
Identity Verification
Identity Verification checks people against government IDs, trusted databases and liveness tests. It covers database, biometric and document verification, along with criminal screening and email and phone checks.
Business Verification And One Touch KYB
For onboarding companies rather than individuals, Business Verification confirms that a business is legitimate using registered documents, government databases and ultimate beneficial owner checks. In the US this includes Secretary of State business checks. One Touch KYB packages these into a single flow.
Background Check And Credit
Background Check looks at criminal records and checks who owns a given device or phone number, among other sources. Credit assesses how creditworthy a business is, combining risk analysis with bank statement evaluation.
Fraud Detection
Fraud Detection adds bank account checks to the identity and screening steps, giving onboarding teams a fraud view alongside identity checks. Signzy’s Fraudulent Behaviour Detection (FBD) technology applies AI to spot suspicious behaviour during onboarding.
One Touch KYC
One Touch KYC puts a global KYC journey behind one API, combining document OCR, AML screening, database checks and liveness detection in a flow the customer can tailor. Liveness confirms that the person doing the KYC is physically present and catches deepfakes, masks, photos and 3D spoofing, while OCR extracts and checks data from more than 14,000 document types.
Mule Shield
Mule Shield is for financial institutions that need to detect, flag and prevent mule accounts. It produces AI generated Trust Scores trained on more than 200 risk signals from device, transaction and identity data, and checks pincode, IP address, digital presence, KYC details and UPI information. Behavioural analytics, network intelligence and device fingerprinting add further signals.
Transaction Monitoring
Transaction Monitoring is an AML suite that flags suspicious transactions in real time. Compliance teams can use pre-configured rules or write their own in dynamic rule engines, while machine learning uses past false positives and negatives to sharpen results and assigns dynamic risk scores. Cases can be passed to FIU or SAR filing systems through custom integration.
No Code Platform
The No Code Platform gives operations teams a drag and drop builder for onboarding workflows. Prebuilt modules and APIs are added to a journey without coding, and tiered risk rules can run more than 200 custom rules at once.
Contract 360
Contract 360 digitises the contract lifecycle and handles secure e-signatures.

Agentic AI Capabilities
Agentic CKYC
Agentic CKYC automates CKYC search, validation, upload and monitoring through one AI-native infrastructure layer that connects a bank’s core banking system to the CERSAI 2.0 registry. More than 50 banks and businesses use it to stay compliant with RBI, SEBI and IRDA requirements.
- Converts any input format into the CKYC 2.0 JSON schema
- Corrects data errors and adjusts images to CERSAI standards
- Applies Aadhaar masking before submission
- Reviews potential duplicates visually and sends approved cases to the registry
- Tracks registry updates and syncs them back to core systems
