Simbian builds AI agents that carry out security operations work for security teams. Its agents triage and investigate alerts, hunt for threats, run penetration tests and manage firewall policy, so analysts spend less time on repetitive investigation and rule maintenance.
The agents share one knowledge store, the Context Lake, which holds what the organisation knows about its own environment. A finding made by one agent becomes context the others can use, and nothing learned is applied until a person approves it.

What Simbian Does
Security operations teams face more alerts than they can investigate, and most automation depends on playbooks and correlation rules that someone has to write and maintain. Simbian replaces that rule work with agents that reason over each alert and the customer’s own context. Its platform, Self-Improving Defense, is aimed at protecting organisations against AI-driven attacks.
Because every agent reads from and writes to the same store of customer context, the platform improves as it works. Pentest results, for example, turn into “a live detection your SOC and threat hunt agents inherit”.
Products
AI SOC Agent
The AI SOC Agent picks up alerts from SIEMs, XDRs and other sources the moment they are raised and works them around the clock. It gathers evidence on every observable linked to an alert, returns a true or false positive verdict with a severity level, and proposes a response plan that can run as automated actions. A reasoning engine with a continuous reinforcement learning loop sits behind it. Simbian reports under 4 minutes from detection to response on average, with 95% of responses approved by the customer’s analysts.
AI Threat Hunt Agent
The AI Threat Hunt Agent helps teams find stealthy threats in telemetry they already collect. It uses the Context Lake to decide where to look, so hunts start from what the organisation already knows about its assets and identities.
AI Pentest Agent
The AI Pentest Agent gives organisations penetration testing on demand, before a product launch or an audit for instance, instead of a once-a-year compliance exercise. It:
- discovers and maps the application stack, limited to domains the customer owns
- tests web applications with AI-driven fuzzing
- delivers findings with remediation guidance and writes them to the Context Lake
AI NetSecOps Agent
Network teams use the AI NetSecOps Agent to manage firewall policies, avoid outages caused by rule changes and respond to threats continuously. It is in Private Preview with a waitlist.
How It Works
The AI SOC Agent runs as SaaS or as an on-premises agent and works alongside the existing security stack rather than replacing it, with deployment measured in hours.
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Context Lake | A tenant-scoped store with four layers of knowledge: assets, identities, processes and decisions. Alerts, tickets, pentest reports, runbooks, EDR and SIEM data, code and configuration all feed into it. Agents consult it during an investigation, pulling in a relevant Skill or Memory partway through a case, so context “steers the investigation instead of filtering the answer”. |
| Skills and Memories | Skills are structured playbooks and lookups private to the customer. Memories are small facts that any agent can recall. Agents add what they learn, and the team can add and review entries too. |
| Human approval | Proposed changes are held until a person approves them and are not used in investigations before that. |
| Data separation | Customer data is never pooled with another tenant’s, and customer telemetry is never used to train a shared model. |
