Syteca makes software that protects organisations from risk inside their own perimeter: the employees, administrators and outside vendors who already hold access to critical systems. It combines privileged access management with detailed monitoring of what those users do once they connect.
It is for security and compliance teams that need to prevent misuse of legitimate access and be able to prove, afterwards, exactly what a user did.

What Syteca Does
Most security controls watch the edge of the network. Syteca focuses on the people already inside it. Access control decides who can reach a sensitive server or account, and monitoring records what happens during each session, so a security team can both prevent misuse and investigate it afterwards. Activity from sessions and access events also feeds risk detection. The products are licensed in modules, so an organisation can start with access control or monitoring and add the rest later. The same records help with audits against GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001.
Products
Privileged Access Management
Privileged Access Management controls who can reach sensitive resources and with which credentials. It suits teams that need to stop administrators sharing passwords or leaving privileged accounts unmanaged.
- An encrypted vault that lets users share credentials without ever seeing the underlying password
- Discovery and onboarding of unmanaged privileged accounts on Windows and Linux systems
- Multi-factor authentication and one-time passwords for shared and built-in accounts
- Agentless RDP and SSH connections from a browser through the Web Connection Manager
Session Monitoring
Session Monitoring keeps a complete record of what happens in each user session, for audit and investigation. Recordings carry searchable text metadata, and full-motion recording is available. Sensitive data can be masked in real time, both in live sessions and in recordings. Keystroke monitoring supports forensic work and incident response, and alerts fire on unwanted activity such as unauthorised file access or privilege misuse.
Identity Threat Detection And Response And Endpoint Security Posture Management
The ITDR module converts session and access activity into risk signals, helping security teams spot compromised or misused accounts among the activity the platform already records. Endpoint Security Posture Management assesses the condition of the endpoints where users work, so device health becomes part of the picture of who is accessing what.
How It Works
Syteca runs as a SaaS service, as an on-premises installation or in a hybrid model, and supports deployment on jump servers.
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Application Server | The communication hub between the software agents (Clients) and the rest of the system, handling configuration, permissions and backend operations. |
| Database | PostgreSQL or MS SQL stores the platform’s data. |
| Agents | Lightweight agents on endpoints capture activity and keep monitoring while offline. |
| Management panel | A single web-based panel for settings, access rights and alerts. |
| Connected systems | The platform integrates with Active Directory, SIEM platforms, ticketing systems and SSO software. |
Identities And Systems Covered
| Privileged accounts | Discovered, onboarded and vaulted. |
