Teleskope is a data security company that finds sensitive data across cloud, SaaS and on-premises stores, decides which of it breaks the customer’s own policies and fixes the problem, often by redacting or deleting the data. It is built for security and privacy teams that are tired of data security tools which raise thousands of alerts but leave the clean-up to people.
The problem it targets is the gap between finding data and fixing it. Knowing that customer records sit in a ticketing tool does little good if someone still has to go and clean them up by hand.

What Teleskope Does
Sensitive records end up in warehouses, file shares, ticketing tools and chat. Teleskope is designed to work through that backlog the way a human security team would, but at scale. It reads the organisation’s written policies, understands what a document is for as well as what it contains, and uses that business context to decide what counts as a violation. Confirmed issues are then remediated automatically or with an approval step. The platform runs several smaller language models, each fine-tuned for one task, instead of a single large model. A Data Reasoning Layer supplies that business context to each stage of the product.
Products
Understand
Understand answers the first question a data security team has: where the sensitive data is. It discovers and classifies data in structured and unstructured stores, on-premises, in the cloud and at third-party vendors, and handles PDFs, images, parquet and csv files. Event-triggered scans pick up new data as it lands, and Document Intelligence recognises what kind of document a file is.
Decide
Decide turns company policy into enforcement rules. Security officers upload their existing policies through Policy Ingestion, test the effect of a rule with Policy Simulation before switching it on, and enforce according to risk rather than treating every match the same.
Enforce
Enforce closes the loop. It provides DLP, governed automation with human-in-the-loop controls where a team wants sign-off, and real-time remediation through the built-in engine, plus compliance reporting that shows what was fixed. For privacy teams it also automates data subject requests for deletion, access and portability, including requests that must be passed to third-party vendors.
Prism
Prism groups documents by what they mean to the business, such as contracts or employment records, so that remediation can differ by document type and sensitivity. Summaries of each document are redacted, embedded in a vector space and clustered by meaning.
How It Works
Customers choose between three deployment models: air-gapped, single tenant SaaS, or a deployment Teleskope manages for them. In each case the platform connects to cloud and SaaS data stores and monitors them continuously.
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Connectors | Read connections to data stores feed classification and policy evaluation. |
| Remediation engine | Fixes such as redaction, deletion or relabelling are applied directly in the source systems. |
| APIs | Open APIs support custom protocols, and a redact API can be called from application code so sensitive values are removed before they are stored. |
Agentic AI Capabilities
Kosmo AI Co-Pilot
Kosmo is an AI co-pilot for data security teams that works inside the platform and acts directly on findings, without handing work off to another tool. Detection, decision and remediation therefore happen in one place, with the co-pilot working on the same findings an analyst would.
AI Tool Access And LLM Protection
As copilots and chat assistants gain access to company data, Teleskope maps exactly what those tools can reach and stops sensitive data from being sent to external LLMs. Supported AI tools include Claude, OpenAI and Copilot.
