TrustArc provides privacy management software and certification services for organisations that need to show they comply with privacy and AI regulations. Its buyers are privacy officers, legal teams and marketing operations groups that handle personal data across many brands, systems and jurisdictions.
The problem it solves is proof. Regulators, customers and partners expect evidence that consent is honoured, rights requests are answered and new systems are assessed for risk, and TrustArc aims to keep that evidence in one place.

What TrustArc Does
Privacy teams spend much of their time tracking which laws apply, where personal data goes, what users have agreed to and whether each new system or vendor raises the risk. TrustArc divides that work by audience: the consumer-facing side of consent and rights, the internal privacy programme, and outside validation through certifications. Frameworks covered include GDPR, CCPA, Virginia CDPA, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 27001, the EU AI Act and India’s DPDP Act. An AI layer, Arc Intelligence, runs across all of it.

How It Works
TrustArc is a hosted platform that links to the business systems where consent and privacy data live. Consent signals, preferences and rights requests flow out to more than 300 business systems through no-code connectors, while programme tasks, vendor records and assessment results are exchanged with workflow tools.
The AI layer operates within the customer’s existing roles and permissions, and customer data is never used to train external AI models. Through MCP, governed TrustArc data can be reached from outside AI assistants, and each connection is “approved, not assumed”.
Agentic AI Capabilities
Ask Arc And Agentic Actions
Ask Arc completes multi-step tasks from a single prompt and acts in the platform through conversational commands that need a human approval. In Privacy Studio it can scan for new trackers, recategorise consent, work through rights requests and produce compliance reports, with the team reviewing each action first.
Drafting And Suggestions
- Drafts records, assessments and control evaluations from evidence already held
- Suggests systems and third parties to add to a company profile as a baseline
