Truvity builds the infrastructure that lets regulated organisations such as banks and insurers accept and issue credentials from European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallets. Instead of integrating separately with each member state’s wallet, an organisation connects once to Truvity and works with wallets across the EU.
Its customers are regulated firms that must accept wallet credentials, and developers of new identity services who need credential infrastructure they do not have to build and certify themselves.

What Truvity Does
Under eIDAS 2.0, every EU member state is rolling out a digital identity wallet, and regulated organisations face a 2027 deadline to accept them. That creates real integration work: more than 27 national implementations, each with its own data schema. Truvity removes that national fragmentation by putting one platform between the organisation and the whole wallet ecosystem. The stated aim is digital identity that is “easy to use, easy to verify, and easy to integrate”.
For a bank, that means onboarding a customer, initiating a payment or issuing a reusable credential through the same connector, whichever country’s wallet the customer holds. Insurers use the same flows for tasks such as claims management. The platform is designed to support compliance with eIDAS 2.0, NIS2, DORA and GDPR.
Products
EUDI Wallet Connector
The connector is the main product, and it gives an organisation a single integration for both sides of the wallet relationship.
- Verify (live): requests PID and attribute attestations from a certified wallet and validates them. The engine handles the 27+ national data schemas and returns one standardised output, so downstream systems only ever see one format.
- Issue (coming soon): issues qualified (QEAA) and non-qualified (EAA) credentials to wallets, compatible with any certified QTSP trust anchor.
- Native SDKs and an API-first design, so developers can add wallet flows to their own applications.
SSI Platform
The SSI Platform is for solution builders who want to create their own digital identity products rather than just connect to wallets. It covers the full credential lifecycle, custom credential schemas and secure data exchange, with “Flexible SDKs and APIs” for developers.
How It Works
Truvity can run as a managed cloud service, with deployment and updates handled by Truvity, or on-premise “in your own environment” for organisations with data residency requirements.
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Verification flow | The connector requests PID or attestations from a certified EUDI Wallet, validates them and passes standardised data to the organisation’s systems. |
| Issuance flow | Once available, the connector issues QEAA and EAA credentials back to the customer’s wallet. |
| Protocols | Exchanges use OpenID for Verifiable Presentations (OID4VP) and OpenID for Verifiable Credential Issuance (OID4VCI). |
| Interoperability testing | Truvity has run end-to-end EAA issuance in the German EUDI Wallet Sandbox and taken part in the ETSI EAA Plugtests, which check that implementations work with each other. |
| Enterprise connections | The connector links to the organisation’s existing identity provider and other core systems, and issuance is anchored to certified QTSP trust services. |
