Verisec International builds cryptographic security for banks, payment providers, fintechs and government bodies. Its products protect payment transactions, data and digital identities, from the hardware that holds a bank’s keys to the authentication customers use when they log in or approve a payment.
Its customers need payment cryptography and phishing-resistant authentication that meet PCI rules without rebuilding their infrastructure in one go.

What Verisec International Does
Verisec pairs its own technology with HSM hardware from Thales and Entrust to tackle three problems: keeping cryptographic keys and payment processing safe in hardware, moving payment cryptography into a managed cloud service, and authenticating users and transactions in a way that resists phishing. Customers do not have to replace everything at once: a hybrid model lets them modernise their infrastructure in phases, and Verisec can take on compliance, threat protection and key management as an outsourced service. The same services are sold to retail and e-commerce firms as well as financial institutions.
Products
Cryptographic Products
For organisations running their own cryptography infrastructure, Verisec supplies and integrates payment and general purpose HSMs.
- Thales payShield payment HSMs, certified to PCI and FIPS standards
- General purpose HSMs from Entrust and Thales, certified to FIPS and Common Criteria requirements
- Integration work across Thales Luna, payShield, Entrust nShield and CipherTrust
- Customisation for PCI defined environments
10XPay
10XPay delivers payment cryptography as a cloud service, so payment processors and issuers can validate and process transactions without running their own HSM estate. It handles PIN translation, EMV validation and remote key loading for device deployment, with a PCI recognised key loading device for key import and export. The service runs on Thales payShield and fails over automatically between availability zones and regional data centres.
10XTrust
10XTrust is a strong authentication service for banks and digital service providers that need to stop account takeover and payment fraud. Its patented transaction PULL technology counters phishing, and it supports mobile, hardware OTP and SMS authenticators, digital signatures, biometric checks and an independent out of band channel. Keys in the mobile SDK are encrypted with the user’s PIN or biometrics, and backend keys are protected through native HSM integration.
Value Added Services
Local expert teams carry out on site system integration and payment security consultancy, including on site support across Europe, the Middle East and Australia and New Zealand.
How It Works
Verisec designs on-premises or hybrid cryptography infrastructures around the HSMs it supplies. 10XPay customers connect to the hosted service through a secure portal and a REST API, with support for legacy socket connections. 10XTrust runs on lean infrastructure at the customer site, in a remote cloud or both, with Verisec’s technical team handling setup and maintenance. Mobile apps embed a native SDK, backend applications connect through an API, and users can be enrolled through mobile, a web portal or face to face.
