Versa Networks builds networking and security software that connects and protects users, devices, workloads and AI agents from one platform. It serves enterprises and service providers that want SD-WAN, secure access and cloud security under a single policy instead of a stack of separate appliances and services.
Its VersaONE Platform is built for organisations with many branches, remote staff and cloud applications, and now for those whose staff and agents use generative AI.

What Versa Networks Does
Enterprises that run branch networks, remote users and cloud applications often end up with one product for connectivity and several more for security, each with its own policy. Versa’s answer is a single software stack with one policy engine, applying inline inspection at every edge to every user, workload and AI interaction. Zero Trust is the starting point of the design rather than an add-on. Because networking and security share that engine, a policy written once follows the user, device or agent wherever traffic flows, from branch to cloud.
Products
VersaONE Platform
VersaONE is Versa’s Universal SASE platform, joining networking and security services under a Unified Policy Engine and Unified Console. It supports multi-tenancy and high availability, which lets service providers run it for many customers, and uses AI-driven operations to manage the estate.
Secure SD-WAN And Secure SD-LAN
Secure SD-WAN is for organisations connecting many sites, giving branches software-defined wide area networking with security built in. Secure SD-LAN carries the same approach into the campus and branch local network.
Security Service Edge And Secure Access Fabric
Security Service Edge protects users wherever they work, combining ZTNA, CASB, SWG, DLP and Advanced Threat Protection. Secure Access Fabric is the framework that ties these services together so users and data are protected consistently across the network.
Private SASE And Sovereign SASE
Private SASE is a dedicated SASE deployment for organisations that need extra privacy and control. Sovereign SASE is designed for countries and sectors where local data sovereignty laws apply.
GenAI Firewall
The GenAI Firewall helps security teams control staff use of generative AI. It finds unauthorised GenAI applications, stops sensitive data from being uploaded into tools such as ChatGPT, enforces access policy after verifying user and device identity, and keeps assessing application risk with detailed reporting on GenAI usage.
Zero Trust MCP Server
The Zero Trust MCP Server protects every MCP interaction between AI agents and the tools, APIs and data they call. Agents receive access based on their verified identity and assigned privileges, inside least-privilege boundaries.
How It Works
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Unified Operating System | One software stack runs networking and security functions together with a single-pass scanning architecture, so traffic is inspected once. |
| Policy and management | One console and one policy set govern every function, and telemetry flows into a unified data lake. |
| Edge hardware | VersaONE runs on certified hardware from approved vendors, and branches can host AI models and business applications locally on CPU, GPU or DPU options. |
| User access | Users connect through the SASE Client agent or through agentless options. |
Identities And Systems Covered
| Users and devices | Identities verified before access policy is applied. |
|---|---|
| Workloads | Covered by the same single policy engine as users. |
| AI agents | Access to tools, APIs and data granted through the Zero Trust MCP Server. |
| AI applications and MCP servers | Every AI app, model, agent, MCP server and tool, sanctioned or not, can be discovered. |
| Networks | Branch WAN, campus LAN and ATM networks. |
Agentic AI Capabilities
Agent Controls In The MCP Server
Beyond identity-based access, the Zero Trust MCP Server adds human-in-the-loop approval: “All AI agent actions require validation before being executed.” Agent activity is logged in full, including sub-actions and cascading queries, so investigators can trace what an agent did.
AI Discovery And Routing
The platform discovers AI apps, models, agents, MCP servers and tools across the network. Token-aware QoS and model-aware routing send each request to the right model.
Versa AI
Versa AI applies analytics across the platform to correlate, predict and resolve issues. It covers AI networking, with UEBA and network anomaly detection, and AI security, with DLP and threat protection.
