VotalAI secures enterprise AI agents and LLM applications while they run. It is built for enterprises and government bodies that are moving agents into production and need to stop prompt injection, data leakage and agent misuse without giving up compliance or performance.
Its platform aims to “secure every AI interaction, from prompt to tool call”, tying runtime policy to agents whose identity has been verified.

What VotalAI Does
VotalAI sits in the path between users, models and the tools that agents call. Every prompt, response and tool invocation is checked against policy in real time, and threats are blocked before they reach a model or a downstream system. Enforcement and testing work as a loop, with continuous attacks on the live deployment feeding back into the guardrails. Agent identity ties that policy to a specific, attested agent, so each decision is made about a known agent rather than an anonymous request.
Products
AI Guardrails
AI Guardrails is the policy engine and threat detection layer for LLM applications. It is aimed at teams that need to keep sensitive data out of model traffic and keep agents to their intended job.
- Blocks prompt injection.
- Detects sensitive data exposure and enforces topic restrictions.
- Validates every agent tool invocation against custom, per tenant tool call policies.
- HIPAA aware guardrails for healthcare and life sciences.
AI Cart
AI Cart gives security and compliance teams runtime monitoring and a compliance dashboard for their AI deployments. Its CART platform runs continuous red teaming, attacking live model and agent endpoints with adversarial strategies, and uses what it finds to retrain the guardrail model.
Agent Identity
Agent identity issues cryptographic identities to AI agents and enforces runtime policy against them. Each agent is attested when its identity is issued, and short lived credentials are bound to that provenance, so an agent can only invoke the tools its tenant policy allows, checked at the moment of each call.
How It Works
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Guardrail model | The AI Runtime Guardrail Stack uses a custom guardrail model built on Qwen3.5-4B. It runs alongside the NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Content Safety model stack. |
| Gateway integration | With Rafay, VotalAI is built around LiteLLM, so it can drop in as a security layer in front of any OpenAI compatible inference endpoint. |
| Agent credentials | Because credentials carry the agent’s attested provenance, a gateway can verify them offline, without an extra round trip to an identity service. |
| Deployment | The stack supports on-premises, private cloud, VPC and air-gapped deployment. The guardrail model can run on the operator’s own accelerators, so classification stays in the same jurisdiction as inference. |
Identities And Systems Covered
| AI agents | Cryptographic agent identities with short lived, provenance-bound credentials. |
|---|---|
| Agent tool calls | Each invocation checked against per tenant policy. |
| LLM applications | Prompts and responses inspected by the guardrail engine. |
| Model and agent endpoints | Live endpoints tested continuously by CART. |
