How should security teams implement short-lived machine-to-machine access without breaking automation pipelines?

Security teams should issue short-lived certificates to service accounts and workloads, then renew them automatically through a controlled agent or bot. Why short-lived access works better than long-lived machine credentials

Short-lived machine-to-machine access is fundamentally about shrinking the time window in which a stolen credential can be reused.
